The name “Clavinova” is a portmanteau of the Latin words “clavier” (keyed instrument) and “nova” (new), and encapsulates Yamaha’s ambition to continue proposing new value for keyboards. The brand evolved into its present form with the CLP, CSP, and CVP Series that provide customers with different ways to play and enjoy music.
