Authorized Purchase: The product must be purchased from an authorized Yamaha dealer within Malaysia Only products obtained from such dealers are eligible under these terms.
Proof of Purchase: A copy of the original invoice or receipt must accompany the defective product as proof of purchase. The proof must clearly display the purchase date, product code, and dealer’s name. Yamaha reserves the right to
deny warranty service and return the product at the customer’s expense if adequate proof of purchase is not provided. Alternatively, Yamaha may refer to the date of its invoice issued to the dealer as a reference.
Serial Number Requirement: Warranty claims are invalid if the product’s serial number has been altered, removed, or made illegible.
Repair or Replacement: Yamaha will address defects at its discretion, either by repairing or replacing the product. All labor and material costs involved in this process will be covered by Yamaha. The warranty period will not be extended
due to repair or replacement. If a replacement is issued, it will be for a product of the same or similar kind and value.
This Warranty shall exclude:
defects and damages arising from the product being repaired by any party other than by Authorised Yamaha Service Centres, from improper installation and/or operation and/or maintenance, alteration, mishandling, abusive treatment, negligence,
exposure to extreme temperature and humidity, attack by household pets and pests, abnormal voltage or the use of generators, fire and lightning and any Act of God;
damages and scratches due to normal wear and tear;
defects or damages due to corrosion, water damage, rusting and staining and the like.
Transportation and Packaging: This Warranty does not include transportation, postage or courier fees for delivering the product to and from the Customer’s location. Customers are encouraged to personally deliver their product to an
Authorized Yamaha Service Centre and retrieve it after service or repair. Where available, delivery services may be arranged by the Authorized Yamaha Service Centre, however, all labour and transport charges will be applied according to
the prevailing company rates at the time of service. The Customer agrees to pay these charges in full upon completion of the service and repair. Yamaha will not be held responsible for any damage caused by improper packaging or handling
during transport by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is appropriately packaged before submitting it for repair.
Limitation of Liability: Yamaha Music (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“Yamaha”) and its employees, representatives, Authorised Yamaha Service Centres and contractors shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any indirect, consequential losses,
exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, damage or injury, costs or expenses of any kind or any delay in connection with any repairs and services under this Warranty. YOU AGREE THAT YAMAHA MUSIC (MALAYSIA) SDN
BHD LIABILITY IN ANY DISPUTE WILL BE CAPPED AT THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER OR PRODUCT AT ISSUE.
Yamaha has the right to subcontract the services and repair provided under this Agreement to any of it authorized service providers.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
The Piano heater that comes with every new piano MUST remain switched ON at all times.
To avoid damage to CD drive, DVD drive, and/or media reader and/or the data in the disks and/or memory cards, DO NOT use cracked, badly scratched or poor quality disks or media or media cards in the disk drive and/or media reader.
For Pianos that come with the Soft-closeTM fallboard, to avoid damage to the Soft-closeTM , DO NOT open and/or close the fallboard forcibly.

called “the Warranty Duration”) PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT ALL piano tunings during the Warranty Duration are performed by an authorised Yamaha Service Centre only..
