Basic conduct to be strictly observed in the company's social media account:-
1. Definition of Social Networks
Social Networks can be defined as 'Web-based Technology' that allows users to send and exchange information and content.
2. Communication
Following the corporate slogan of "Creating Kando Together", the employees of Yamaha Music (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (YMM) make every effort to communicate the most up to date, accurate and high quality content.
3. Accuracy of Information
Employees of YMM are aware that once information appears on the Internet, it cannot be removed completely. Therefore every effort is made to post the most accurate information
Employees of YMM endeavor to publish information in a manner that does not violate any rules or laws applicable to YMM and Malaysia, or any information that contravenes YMM policy.
YMM is fully aware that the information published by its emplyees may have significant impact to the company's image.
4. Information Published on Social Networks
YMM does not guarantee the information published by its employee in the social network environment is completely accurate. Information published to social networks should not be treated as a substitute for the official YMM website at my.yamaha.com.
Although YMM makes every effort to respond to questions posted on social networks in a reasonable time frame, social network sites are monitored only during Head Office's official opening hours. Delays can be expected if posting questions or comments outside of these hours.
5. Contact Information
If you cannot or do not want your message to be seen by other members of the public participating in the social network, please direct your enquiries through the official website from below, where they will be answered directly.
