Introducing Super Articulation Voices
- S-Piano 1
The sampled voice of the CFX, Yamaha's finest full concert grand piano. This Voice reproduces such nuances as the subtle changes in sound that occur just as the fingers are released from the keys, and the mellow tone that is produced by other strings resonating in sympathy with the strings of the note that was played.
- S-Steel Guitar 1
Use a foot switch to produce such effects as striking the guitar body with your hand, or vary your touch on the keyboard to add slides. When the fingers are released from the keys, this Voice will also randomly produce the fret noise heard from time to time when playing the guitar.
- S-Alto Sax
Vary the touch and timing with which notes are played to enjoy a superbly natural reproduction of saxophone sound. Use a foot switch to add bends, or play octave notes legato with natural glissando.
- CHOIR Voices, GospelAdLibs
New additions to the human voices featured in the STAGEA. Intro sounds and ad lib sections have been assigned as keyboard percussion sounds. Additionally, the foot switch can be used to alternate between ShoBeDoBa and Hmmm sounds.
- S-ShoBeDoBa/Hmm, S-Scat/SFX2
Plays "Shoo Be Doo Bah" in time with your playing. Additionally, the foot switch can be used to alternate between Shoo Bee Doo Bah and Hmmm sounds. The last note played finishes with "Dow!"
- S-Flute Flutter
Play octave notes legato, with natural glissando. The foot switch can be used to add grace notes before or after depressing keys. Initial touch has been used to apply flutter to the sustained "A" in the 13th and 14th bars.
- S-Dist Solid 4
Use the foot switch to add the characteristic picking and scratching sounds so characteristic of an electric guitar. The secondary expression pedal can be used for pitch bending, and the horizontal touch bar to add vibrato.
- S-Irish Pipe 1
This Voice transforms with the touch used on the keys. Playing strongly produces trills and vibrato. Although the foot switch can be used to bend notes, bending is also applied automatically to some phrases.
- S-BrsSec.Up
Pressing the foot switch before depressing a key produces a natural upwards glissando.
- S-Violin 1
Vary the touch and timing with which notes are played to enjoy a superbly natural reproduction of violin sound. Grace notes can be added with the foot switch. Playing octaves legato adds portamento automatically.
- S-Trumpet 1
Vary the touch and timing with which notes are played to enjoy a superbly natural reproduction of trumpet sound. Bending is applied automatically to match the phrase and touch used. Use the foot switch to apply downward glissando to the final note.
- S-Clarinet 1
Vary the touch and timing with which notes are played to enjoy a superbly natural reproduction of clarinet sound. This Voice offers smooth note transitions, especially when playing legato.
The foot switch can also be used to add slides and grace notes.- S-Clavi
This Voice alters when keys are released (key-off sampling).
- S-TenorSax Growl
Vary the touch and timing with which notes are played to enjoy a superbly natural reproduction of saxophone sound. Play octave notes legato, with natural glissando, or add grace notes using the foot switch. Playing the keys with a strong touch gives a growling tone.
