Junior Special Advanced Course
Age range: For graduates of Junior Music Course (audition required)
This course is an intensive music study that aims to further develop the musical senses and skills of the young musician. It is open to Junior Music Course graduates who have successfully passed an entrance audition.
Students are mentored to acquire the creative ability that allows self-expression via music by improvisation and composing, while developing competent performance ability. They are expected to achieve the musical ability on the level of either Yamaha Piano Grade 9 -7 or Yamaha Electone Grade 9 -7.
The course encourages active participation in Junior Original Concert, and students may be invited to perform their compositions in overseas concerts such as the Asia Pacific Junior Original Concert and International Highlight Concert held each year.
Many graduates of Junior Special Advanced Courses have gone on to develop life-long careers in music as performing artists (locally and overseas), composers, members of world-class orchestras and highly regarded music educators.

We hold special presentations and events for each classroom and course as an opportunity for you to demonstrate the skills you’ve gained in the lessons. The pleasantly tense excitement of the performance and the sense of fulfillment it creates are invaluable.
