On the 31st October 2011, the Yamaha Piano Course (YPC) was officially launched in Kuala Lumpur at the Sunway Resort Hotel & SPA by the Director of Franchise Development, Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK), Datin Seri Elena Chiang Abdullah.

This Yamaha Piano Course is a new comprehensive course that is based on Yamaha philosophy and concepts in addition to our other successful courses such as the Junior Music Course (JMC), Music Wonderland and many more.  The Yamaha Music Education System cultivates musical ability, creativity, and a life-long love of music.  From the course, students learn to hear, sing, play, read, understand and appreciate every aspect of music.  As they advance, children apply the fundamental skills that they have acquired in their earlier studies through performance, improvisation and composition.  The Yamaha Piano Course (YPC) is conducted exclusively in Yamaha Music School.  In addition, it also complements other music examination boards.
