RIVAGE PM7 Helps Support Wroclaw Culture

The 3-Majówka Festival usually takes place in early May, on several major stages in and around the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw, Poland. Although this year’s event had to be cancelled, in mid-September a condensed version with a single outdoor stage was held as rules were initially relaxed a little, renamed Last Minute Summer Festival - WrocLove 2020. Production company PogoArt deployed Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 and CL series mixers, together with a NEXO STM PA system.

The Zepp Hall Network, part of the concert-going experience in Japan since 1997, has arrived in Taiwan. The Zepp concept, whereby all venues are permanently installed with standardised sound and lighting systems, 4K projection and stage machinery, offers advantages to tour promoters and artists alike. Nine pre-equipped Zepp venues in Daiba, Fukuoka, Haneda, Nagoya, Namba Osaka, Osaka Bay Side, Sapporo, Tokyo and Yokohama allow bands to simply turn up and play without having to stage a full production.

AUX Media Group Upgrades for Future and Online Events with Yamaha

Following discussions with Yamaha Music Asia earlier this year, AUX Media Group has taken delivery of a full digital mixing ecosystem for its future live event and virtual requirements. The RIVAGE PM system comprises of CSD-R7, CS-R5 and CS-R3 control surfaces paired with the new DSP-RX DSP engine. In terms of inputs and outputs, the RPio622 is fitted with 64-in/32-out and Rio3224-D2 and Rio1608-D2 I/O racks. The entire package combines to create Singapore’s first XR “extended reality” studio.

The PA People Upgrades Historic Rathmines Theatre

Based in Sydney, Australia, The PA People is highly regarded as one of Australia’s premier audio vendors and has installed new audio, AV, communications and theatre systems into the refurbished Rathmines Theatre on behalf of Lake Macquarie City Council. Rathmines Theatre is located in the former RAAF Station Rathmines, constructed in the 1940s and used as a picture theatre and gymnasium to provide a recreation for hundreds of men stationed there. The council took over management in the 1960s, initially using the building as the Rathmines Community Hall.
