Yamaha’s New Audioversity Webinar Series Offers Fresh, More Interactive Approach For Audio Professionals

Mid-May sees the start of a brand new series of webinars from Yamaha, aimed at professional audio engineers, systems integrators and venue technicians. Taking a fresh and engaging new approach, each webinar will run twice to ensure that as many participants as possible from across Europe, the Americas, Russia, Africa and the Middle East can take part.

2019 RodeoHouston: Livestock and Live Performances

The RodeoHouston (aka the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo) is the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. And, in addition, the rodeo features nightly live musical entertainment. Since 2003, the event has been held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, this year taking place over 21 days from February 25 through March 17. Every night after the rodeo, a variety of musical performers took to the stage including Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan, Cardi B, Turnpike Troubadours, Panic! At the Disco, Old Dominion, Camila Cabello, Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, ZEDD, Kane Brown, Los Tigres Del Norte, Zac Brown Band, Kings of Leon, Santana, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, to Brad Paisley, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, and George Strait - the finale of the rodeo concert series drawing over 80,000 attendees.

Brewery Adds Yamaha CIS for Ultimate Patron Experience

A new brewery has opened in Orlando, Florida, and it's already creating a buzz (excuse the pun!). Sideward Brewing is situated in the popular Milk District of downtown Orlando and officially opens March 30. The name comes from a riff off the owner's last name, Ward, and playing off of a time where wayward thinking was the norm so sideward fit the bill exactly.

MTX/MRX/XMV/PGM1 Firmware V3.31 released - Support for Audinate Dante Domain Manager™

The "MTX/MRX series" of signal processors which allow the flexible and simple construction of sound systems demanding complex system control and large-scale input/output, the "XMV series" of power amplifiers, and the "PGM1" Paging Station Microphone have been updated to V3.31, now supporting Audinate Corporation's "Dante Domain Manager".

Sympathetic Solution For Löffingen’s Historic Rathaus

The historic Löffingen Rathaus (or town hall) in Germany’s Baden-Württemberg region was extensively renovated between 2016 and 2018. As well as being restored and addressing longstanding structural problems, the building was sympathetically modernised. A Yamaha TF-RACK mixer is now playing an important part in the town’s administration, installed in the council chamber.
