RIVAGE PM Series Firmware Version 2.5 - Enhanced Support for Theatre Applications
The RIVAGE PM digital mixing system has been updated regularly since its initial release, and now takes another step forward with firmware update V2.5. The Version 2.5 update adds a new Theatre Mode that offers significant advantages for plays, musicals, and other theatrical productions.

MTX/MRX series signal processors and XMV series power amplifiers updated to version 3.3
"MRX/MTX series" signal processor and "XMV series" power amplifier, which allow flexible and simple construction of sound systems requiring complex signal control and large numbers of inputs and outputs, have now been updated to version 3.3, further improving connectivity, expandability, and ease of use for these units. This update allows the head amps of the MRX7-D and MTX5-D to be controlled from a CL/QL series unit and the functions have been added to expand the functional potential of the MTX/MRX/XMV series, enhance system operability, and shorten design and installation time.
Solstices Is A Swiss Success For Yamaha
Every 10 years the municipality of Echallens in Switzerland stages Fête du Blé et du Pain (The Festival of Wheat and Bread), a 12 day cultural event which celebrates the traditions and history of the region. This year the centrepiece was Solstices, a spectacular open air musical production, performed by 8,000 volunteers, attracting 40,000 spectators and using five Yamaha digital mixing consoles.

Now an annual event, this year Yamaha digital mixers were tasked with mixing a band of over 1500 members.
