Yamaha Band Mentor Acoustic

“Whisper to the Deaf” a 6 piece band comprising of music students wowed both the audience and judges (from recording labels, producer and musicians) at the recent Yamaha Band Mentor Acoustic Finals on the 20th Sept 2014.

They beat 4 other bands Funky Radio, Spellbound II, The Gohono and Forever in Atlas to represent Malaysia in the coming Asian Beat Acoustic 2014 in Tokyo with their very unique music arrangement.

This is the 3rd season of the Yamaha Band Mentor Program and we have seen many amateur musicians benefitting from this program. Their level of musicianship and skills have improved tremendously once they complete their 3 sessions of mentoring with their mentor Mr Aubrey Suwito (Yamaha Synthesizer endorsee) , other Yamaha endorsees and renown musicians.
