The ASIA-PACIFIC JUNIOR ORIGNIAL CONCERT (APJOC) 2012 was held successfully in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, KLCC, Malaysia on 6 November 2012. This year, there were total 12 young composers from 9 different territories; China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and our very own country Malaysia performed that night. Children from ages 8 – 15 showcased their musical talents and creativity through their very own original compositions selected from amongst 30,000 received worldwide.
Audience of the night
This concert brings children from different cultures closer, and the audience were mesmerised by the uniqueness of their performances and shared the pleasure of music and friendship. We are very proud and honoured to have had with us that night our Deputy Prime Minister, Y.A.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Hj. Muhyiddin bin Hj. Mohd. Yassin to grace this special evening.
