Electone Concert by Kenan Loui Widjaja

KENAN LOUI WIDJAJA was back again to Malaysia after his Musical Journey with Yamaha Electone in June 2012. Winner of the 2008 Yamaha Electone Concours, Kenan Loui Widjaja currently studies Music Performance Production and Management at a university in Jakarta, Indonesia. A product of Yamaha Music Education system, upon completing from Yamaha’s Junior Music Course, Kenan Loui Widjaja furthered his study of the Electone, as well as the Piano, Drums, and Classical Guitar.

From 29 Nov 2012 until 2 Dec 2012, he was having a series of Electone Master Class and Workshops for Yamaha Academy students, Yamaha Electone teachers and Yamaha Electone Festival finalists to share his insights in Electone learning. He played songs like "Fly", "Warna", “Smile of Rainboy", "Ganbatte" & "Cindai". Also he presented some in depth analysis on his performances & own compositions.  Especially areas in registration, ideas of arrangement, pedal playing, styles etc. The attendees were appreciative towards these programs in their skill development & enhancement.
 
He also had Electone Mini concert @ 3 major regions in Malaysia, they are Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor on 30 Nov 2012, Malaysia Airlines Academy in Selangor on 1 Dec 2012 & Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang on 2 Dec 2012. Audiences from these concerts mainly were Yamaha students, teachers, parents as well as public. He played "Angin", "Fly", " Exotic To Joy", "El-Cumbancero" ," Smile of Rainboy", "Warna”, "Ganbatte" ,"Global Powerisation" & encored with "Cindai". In Central region, there was a featured guest performance by Roger Tang who is the 1st Prize winner at Asia-Pacific Electone Festival 2012 (Open Age) & Grand Prix Award Yamaha Electone Festival 2012 (Open Age).  In Northern region, Kenan's performance was appeared as guest performance in conjunction with Northern Yamaha Clavinova Idol competition. The responses for all concerts were overwhelming.
