Console (MG10, MG10X, MG10XU, MG10XUF and MG12XUK) for risk of smoke and electric shock

We regret to inform you of a potential safety concern regarding the AC adaptor PA-10, specifically for the MG10/MG12 series analog mixer products.

Issue Description :

In some instances, a crack has been identified in the AC adaptor PA-10, which could lead to smoke and pose an electric shock risk when in contact with the internal components of the adapter.

Action Required :

To ensure your safety, we urgently request all customers using the affected adapter (with the date code listed below) to stop its use immediately. Please disconnect the plug from both the AC outlet and the products.

Note : While the adapters may not appear defective now, there is a possibility of future problems. We recommend taking precautionary measures by participating in the complimentary exchange service.

Confirmation Regarding MG10/12 Series Mixer :

We want to assure you that the MG10/12 series analog mixer unit itself has been confirmed to have no problems. The concern is only related to the PA-10 adaptor used in conjunction with the mixer.

Applicable Date Code in AC adaptor (4 digits on the back of case): 2126 – 2319
Model Name including the AC adaptor: MG10, MG10X, MG10XU, MG10XUF, MG12XUK

How to confirm the Date Code:

Please check the following points.
- Manufacturer name on the case label in the AC adaptor indicates “YAMAHA”.
- “MODEL” (model name) on the case label in the AC adaptor indicates “PA-10”.
- Date code on the back side of the adapter, opposite side of the label, indicates from “2126” to “2319” with 4 digits.
