We, YAMAHA MUSIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. (11746-X) (“Yamaha”) of Lot 8 Jalan Perbandaran Kelana Jaya 47301 Petaling Jaya Selangor are the sole importers and distributors of Yamaha Mixers in Malaysia.
PLEASE BE INFORMED that counterfeit mixers comprising of the models MG124CX, MG166CX and MG16/6FX have been discovered in the Malaysian market. The counterfeit mixers are almost identical in appearance to genuine Yamaha Mixers and appear to have been manufactured in China. These counterfeit mixers are being sold with counterfeit Yamaha exterior packaging, inner bags and manuals. To the untrained eye, these counterfeit mixers and its packaging appear identical in appearance to the genuine Yamaha mixers. The counterfeit mixers are inferior in performance and quality compared to genuine Yamaha Mixers.
Yamaha DOES NOT sanction, support or condone the sale of these counterfeit mixers or any products which infringe upon Yamaha’s intellectual property rights and shall not offer any guarantees, warranties or after sale services with respect to counterfeit mixers.
Please be sure to purchase Yamaha products directly from Yamaha or through its authorised dealers only. Log on to our website at my.yamaha.com for information on authorised Yamaha dealers in Malaysia.

The features and quality of the counterfeit mixers are in many cases poor and are usually associated with the following :
· Poor quality components used in the mixers;
· Poor quality product finishing;
· Incorrect, smeared or blurred product packaging;
· Incorrect spelling of brand name, wrong mark/logo;
· Unbelievably low prices; and
· High risk, that the use of the counterfeit mixers can lead to fire and/or other accidents.
